DESCRIPTION:The Patriot Guard Riders have again been invited to celebrate Memorial Day with the Veterans and residents of Eskaton Village in Carmichael and we will be honored to do so…but there is a catch.  Normally their Memorial Day Celebration is held on the Saturday before the Holiday but this year it will be held on the Holiday and we are committed\, as we are each year\, to attending Memorial Day Ceremony at SVNC.The staff and residents at Eskaton were “bummed” when they found out we were not available to be at their normal morning ceremony.\n\nSooo…this is what we have worked out.  We are going to be there for them in the afternoon for a special showing.The residents will gather outside on the veranda and we will ride in and around the pond as a group.We will then park the bikes and assemble as a group in front of the residents\, give a short talk about the PGR and salute the veterans present.We will then offer all the residents who wish a chance to pose for a photo on/beside the bikes and offer those who wish a ride around the grounds.When we have completed that mission the PGR will be dismissed.Shouldn’t take more than an hour and a half or less. \nThose of you who wish to volunteer to give rides should keep in mind the age of these residents and your bike should be suitable for the purpose (would like to have at least 4 to 6 bikes for rides).  Also you must have a current insurance policy in force.We will need extra helmets for the passengers so if you have an extra please bring it (half helmets preferably as they have some difficulty donning a full helmet). \nNOTE:  For those of you who also attend the earlier ceremony at SVNC we should be done at SVNC by 1030.It is about a 40 minute ride from SVNC to Eskaton Villiage Carmichael which should give ample time to have something to eat and travel to the staging area. \nMISSION DETAILS:\nMonday 30 May 2016\nLOCATION:\nEskaton Village Carmichael\, 3939 Walnut Ave.\, Carmichael\, CA \nMaplink location in relation to I-80:http://goo.gl/maps/nOvYp \n1245—STAGE in overflow parking lot just South of main gate (red marker in map)\nStaging Maplink:  https://goo.gl/maps/WEj59E8iP6u\n1250—Briefing\n1300 (sharp)—KSU\, enter the facility and complete our mission. \nRC:\nMickey Giacomo\, 916-872-7551 \nYou do not have to be a Veteran or a motorcycle rider to attend this mission.
