Tulsa Veterans Treatment Court Event Honoring Veterans, Skiatook, OK, 11 June 16
The Tulsa Veterans Treatment Court (Tulsa VTC) has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to join them in Honoring Veterans at a cookout picnic on Saturday, 11 June 2016 at 1100 Hours at the Clint Hill Heroes Gathering Place at Skiatook Lake Scenic Overlook. The Tulsa VTC is one of approximately 200 Federal Courts nationwide (and one of the first) created within the criminal justice system to proactively assist veterans who have pending non-violent felonies or misdemeanor charges, by providing substance abuse counseling, mental health treatment and other needs unique to veterans. The Tulsa VTC has partnered with the VA, the DAV and American Legion to address treatment, rehabilitation, employment and housing for veterans struggling with their return from combat operations.
