DESCRIPTION:Field of Honor Ceremony\nVeterans Memorial Park\, Tampa\nSaturday\, July 9\, 2016\n\n\n\nThe Veterans Memorial Park Committee has honored the Patriot Guard Riders with a request to stand a Flag line during their quarterly Field of Honor Ceremony. \nWe will present this Flag line as our community honors service men and women who have made the supreme sacrifice during the past three months\, April through June 2016\, while engaged in this country’s War on Terror in Operations Inherent Resolve and Freedom’s Sentinel. \nThe names of 9 U.S. Army personnel killed during a training exercise at Fort Hood\, TX\, a U.S. Marine Blue Angels Pilot killed during a flight demonstration in Tennessee\, and 4 military personnel killed in Operation Inherent Resolve\, which includes a US Navy Seal will be read. \nState Senator Wilton Simpson (FL 18th) will be the featured speaker\, sponsored by the Gold Star Mothers of Greater Tampa Bay\, Inc.  Senator Simpson is the sponsor of the Florida Gold Star Family License Plate.
