Flag line set up 11:15 am (give or take a few minutes)
Nation of Patriots (www.nationofpatriots.com) will arrive at Thunderbird Harley-Davidson and Patriot Guard Riders are again requested to do a Flag line for the Flag’s arrival.
Nation of Patriots is one American Flag being escorted bike to bike – 48 states in 100 days. Nation of Patriots is a non profit, all volunteer organization. NOP is a 501(C)3 organization that raises financial support for the families of American wounded veterans through a national movement call the Patriot Tour. It starts in Milwaukee Memorial Weekend and ends up in Milwaukee Labor Day Weekend.
The Flag will arrive at approximately 11:30 am to noon depending on the ride escorting it. Patriot Terry Proctor, Flag bearer will be leading the ride from Roswell to Albuquerque, NM. Flag line will be set up at the entrance to Thunderbird Harley for the riders to ride through as the pull into Thunderbird. After the riders cool off there will be a ceremony transferring the Flag to the next Flag bearer.
July 21st has been proclaimed by our Governor to be Nation of Patriots Day throughout our State of New Mexico and Mayor Berry has proclaimed July 21st to be Nation of Patriots Day in the City of Albuquerque. I have given Patriot Guard Riders to be included in the recognition on the Proclamations.
