The Patriot Guard Riders have been invited to participate in the annual POW/MIA Recognition Day being held at the Louis A. Johnson VA Medical Center, 1 Med Center Dr., Clarksburg, WV (http://tinyurl.com/gv8z9be) beginning at 1100 on Friday, 16 Sep16.
George Weigel (georgeweigel@netzero.com) is the temporary Ride Captain in Charge of this most Honorable mission.
Staging will be at the VAMC.
Staging time: 1030.
Mission brief: 1045.
Flag line will be in place NLT 1100 and will be maintained until 1300.
We will stand the flag line in 30 minute shifts and MAY be joined by some of the hospital staff.
While cameras are always welcomed on our missions, there will be NO PICTURES OF HOSPITAL PATIENTS! Anyone violating this request will have their camera/cell phone confiscated until our flag line is completed.
As this is federal property, NO weapons of any kind, including knives, will be permitted.
Long range weather forecast is for sunny skies with temperatures in the low 80’s. Please dress and travel according to conditions. Water will be provided, as needed.
