Once again the Patriot Guard Riders have been asked to participate in the Fort Gordon POW/MIA Recognition Ceremony and it is our honor to accept this invitation.
This year’s Ceremony will be held at 1030 hrs (10:30 AM) on 16 September 2016 at the POW/MIA Monument located at the intersection of Chamberlain Avenue and Kilbourne Street.
The POW and MIA Ceremony is in honor of and recognition of all former American Prisoners of War, those still missing and the families who have endured and are still enduring extraordinary sacrifices on behalf of this Country.
The Patriot Guard will stand a flag line in honor of our Nations Prisoners of War and those service men and women that are still Missing.
Be prepared to go on Ft. Gordon with a picture ID, driver’s license and proof of insurance for signing in if you don’t have a military ID. We are working on pass through permission but do not have it at the present time.
Don’t forget the requirements for riding on post: reflective vest/gear, eye protection, over the ankle foot gear, long sleeves, full finger gloves, and no weapons.
