Honor The Fallen

Lawton/Fort Sill, Oklahoma – 05-08-19

ABOUT THE MISSION:

Captain Jean Tomte, Commander Delta Battery 1st Battalion 79 Field Artillery, has invited the Patriot Guard to participate in the Honor the Fallen event. This event takes Ft. Sill Trainees by bus from their training area on Ft. Sill to Fort Sill National Cemetery in Elgin, OK where they will watch a video on National Cemeteries and listen to guest speakers before spending time cleaning the headstones and flower beds at the cemetery. We will accompany the buses to Fort Sill National Cemetery and be present during the program for the trainees where the riders will be recognized for their commitment to Honor the Fallen. Once the program is concluded the trainees will began their work and the riders will be dismissed.

UPDATE To Required Riding Gear on Fort Sill. The Military Police on Fort Sill has confirmed that the REFLECTIVE VEST IS NO LONGER REQUIRED.
Required Gear is as follows: Helmet, eye protection, over the ankle footwear, long pants, long sleeve shirt or jacket, full finger gloves.

If you have large bike flags, please bring them.
Water WILL NOT be provided, please bring your own.
