US Army Air Corp Bernard A. Egin passed away in
Washington DC recently. His son, George Egan, emailed Patriot Guard
Rider Richard Fischer and stated that his father had passed away, that he was
going to Washington D.C. to make arrangements for his fathers return to Illinois
and the following funeral plans.

Richard asked George if his father had served and he
replied that yes he had served 2 years in the USAAF during WWII and after
getting out of the Army during the war he had reenlisted in the Navy where he
spent the next 21 years until he retired, although he saw no actual combat, he
has medals for being in the first series of occupying forces in Japan at the end
of WWII and ribbons for various naval deployments during the Korean War.

As the son of the deceased, George is respectfully asking for PGR
assistance in riding escort for the funeral procession. The information
about the funeral is as follow:

The wake will be Saturday and Sunday October 7th and 8th from 3 pm til 9 pm and

the funeral will begin Monday at 9:15 am at:
