Honor Flight Welcome Home
Lakeland, Florida 04-27-21
ABOUT THE MISSION:
Patriot Guard Riders have the honor of standing a Flag Line and welcome home our Heroes of the Greatest Generation, Korean and Vietnam Veterans from their trip back from Washington D.C., after visiting the WWII, Korean & Vietnam Memorials, Marine Corps Iwo Jima & Air Force Monuments and Vietnam Wall. They were also able to witness changing of the guard at the Tomb of the Unknowns at Arlington National Cemetery.
This flight will have several WWII, Korean & Vietnam War Veterans with their escorts and medical staff. Many of us have personally had the honor to welcome them home on several occasions and I can tell you, it is a heartwarming experience. I encourage everyone to come out to the Lakeland Linder International Airport to welcome these former warriors home. Please bring your American flags, banners and signs to honor their service to our country.
