DESCRIPTION:HOTH Mission\nHonor Flight of Southern Oregon\,\nWWII\, Korea\, Vietnam\nPortland\, Oregon – 09-19-19\n\n\n\nABOUT THE MISSION: \nLadies and Gentlemen of the Patriot Guard Riders\, we have been invited to help welcome Honor Flight of Southern Oregon as they depart for their trip to our Nation’s Capitol to see all the Memorials and sights. There will be 5 WWII\, 12 Korean and 8 Vietnam Vets on this Honor Flight. These veterans will NOT be coming out thru Security like normal. They are catching a connecting flight and we will escort them from plane to plane and spend the three hours of their layover\, visiting with them. This is a unique opportunity for 8 of us to spend time talking with these veterans and hearing their stories. We will meet at the Alaska Airlines Ticket Counter and join the USO as they go through the Security Checkpoint.\n\nThis is the first mission of this date\, the second mission is immediately afterwards.\n\nParking will be validated for those taking cages. PDX asks that we let them know in advance\, if possible\, how many cages will be parking in short term parking.
