DESCRIPTION:HOTH Mission\nHonor Flight of Portland #1\,\nWWII\, Korea\nPortland\, Oregon – 09-19-19\n\n\n\nABOUT THE MISSION: \nLadies and Gentlemen of the Patriot Guard Riders\, we have been invited to help sendoff Honor Flight of Portland as they depart for their trip to our Nation’s Capitol to see all the Memorials and sights. We along with USO will be assisting the 10 WWII and 15 Korean veterans as they navigate TSA and then escort them with our flags to the proper gate. This is a unique opportunity for 8 of us to spend time talking with these veterans and hearing their stories. Please join us; it is always a pleasure to help these Veterans on this special journey and wonderful experience.\n\n\nPRIMARY STAGING DETAILS: 09-19-19 \nStaging Time: 4:45 am\n \nPortland International Airport\n7000 NE Airport Way\nPortland\, Oregon\n\nMap\n\n\nRide Captain: \nSmokie Parrack\nsmokie.parrack@gmail.com\n\n\nSpecial Instructions: \nFlagline Set: as needed\n\nThere are only eight gate passes and all of those participating will need to send their Drivers License and Full Name to the Ride Captain before 17 September to secure your spot. We will meet at the Alaska Airlines Ticket Counter and join the USO as they go through the Security Checkpoint.\n\nThis is the first mission of this date\, the second mission is immediately afterwards.\n\nParking will be validated for those taking cages. PDX asks that we let them know in advance\, if possible\, how many cages will be parking in short term parking.
