Honor and Remember/Georgia’s Run for the Fallen
USA USMC USN USAF USCG LEO Fire EMS/EMT – WoT
Fort Valley, Georgia – 10-03-20
ABOUT THE MISSION:
The Patriot Guard Riders will once again stand at Hero Markers for the 2nd Annual Georgia Run for the Fallen sponsored by the Georgia Chapter of Honor and Remember. Runners and volunteers stop at each Hero Marker along the route to call out the names of fallen heroes with ties to the state of Georgia from the War on Terrorism. They will also pay tribute to fallen first responders from our state.
This run represents every service member from Georgia who laid down their lives for freedoms cause. As you give tribute to these heroes. please remember others who have paid the ultimate sacrifice throughout history. Georgia, being rich in the foundation of this country, has given many of her sons and daughters. Regardless of war, conflict, branch of service, or method of death, we ultimately run for them all, honoring their service and sacrifice, and remembering that they each gave up a future so that we could have ours. We give tribute to them by name wherever possible and to the sacrifice of the families they left behind.
