DESCRIPTION:Memorial\nHometown Heroes Tour\, Active Duty\, KIA\, Veteran\nUSA USMC USN USAF USCG – GW/ODS\, WoT\nDuncanville\, Pennsylvania – 09-01-19\n\n\n\nABOUT THE MISSION: \nThe Patriot Guard Riders have been invited to escort then stand in silent honor for the Hometown Heroes Tour featuring Nashville recording artist\, Ricky Lee. This Tour is dedicated to four Gold Star Families who lost loved ones in the line of duty.\nHeroes Honored are:\nSPC Chad A. Edmundson\, 20\, of Williamsburg\, Pa\, assigned to the 2nd Battalion\, 112th Infantry\, 56th Stryker Brigade\, Pennsylvania Army National Guard during Operation Enduring Freedom in Iraq. SPC Edmundson was killed in action 27 May 2009 in Baghdad of wounds sustained when he was hit by an IED while on patrol. SPC Chad Edmundson received the Bronze Star Medal\, the Purple Heart\, the Good Conduct Medal\, the National Defense Service Medal\, the Iraq Campaign Medal\, the Global War On Terror Service Medal\, the Armed Forces Medal with “M” Device and the Army Service Ribbon.\nStaff Sergeant Matthew N. Ingham U.S. Marine Corps. SSgt Mathew N. Ingham\, 25\, of Altoona\, PA\, assigned to 3rd Reconnaissance Battalion\, 3rd Marine Division\, III Marine Expeditionary Force\, Okinawa\, Japan. SSgt Ingham served two tours of duty in Iraq before his final tour of duty in Afghanistan. SSgt Ingham was killed in action 11 January 2010 during Operation Enduring Freedom while supporting combat operations in Afghanistan. SSgt Ingham received the Bronze Star Medal with Valor\, the Purple Heart\, the Presidential Unit Citation\, the Good Conduct Medal\, the National Defense Service Medal and the NATO Medal International Security Assistance Force (ISAF).\nPrivate First Class Bradley G. Kritzer\, U.S. Army. PFC Bradley G. Kritzer\, 18\, of Irvona\, Pa\, assigned to 1st Battalion\, 21st Field Artillery Regiment\, 1st Cavalry Division\, Fort Hood\, Texas. PFC Kritzer was killed in action 5 May 2004 while serving during Operation Iraqi Freedom when his vehicle was hit by an IED in Baghdad. PFC Kritzer received the Bronze Star Medal and the Purple Heart.\nGunnery Sergeant Ronald E. Baum USMC. Gunnery Sergeant Ronald E. Baum\, 38\, of Hollidaysburg\, PA\, assigned to 2nd Intelligence Battalion\, 2nd Marine Division\, II Marine Expeditionary Force at Camp Lejeune\, N.C. GySgt Baum was killed in action 3 May 2019 while serving during Operation Iraqi Freedom. He was hit by hostile fire in Anbar province\, Iraq. Those that are able will be bused in. After the ride by\, continuing the escort. Large Cement pad for bike parking for those who plan on staying for the Hometown Heroes Tour. Those that are doing the ride in for the Presentation will be directed to the park on the shale. Lakemont Park\, 700 Park Ave\, Altoona\, PA 16602.\nMap\nForming a Flag Line on arrival.\nPresentation starts at 2:00 PM.\nMembers can attend all of a mission or any part of the mission.
