Homes for our Troops Escort and Community Kick Off
Orlando, Florida – 06-29-19
ABOUT THE MISSION:
The Homes for our Troops organization has graciously requested the Patriot Guard Riders to lead an Escort in Honor of Army Sergeant Patrick Wickens, who was injured while serving in Iraq back in 2003. After numerous surgeries, Patrick was medically retired. The Escort will be approximately 4 miles in length, ending up at VFW Post 4287 on Goldenrod Road where a ceremony will take place. Homes for our Troops will be building a home for SGT Wickens and will present it to him at a later date.
Please bring your 3 X 5 American Flags for a possible Flag Line at the Ceremony location.
