Holloman Air Force Base POW/MIA Ceremony
Alamogordo, New Mexico – 09-18-20
ABOUT THE MISSION:
The Patriot Guard Riders have been requested to attend and participate in the annual HAFB POW/MIA Ceremony again this year. The event will take place at the monument on base starting at 8:00am and lasting for a maximum of 30 minutes. We will be providing a flag line during the ceremony. This is a moving ceremony remembering all POW/MIA’s, and specifically the New Mexican POW/MIA’s still missing from our various wars. It is a somber but “feel good” type of ceremony and I strongly encourage all riders who have not been able to attend other services to do their best to join us for this one. It is one of those ceremonies that completely sums up what we do and why we do it. Most members should be able to attend this event and still make it to work on time as the event will end at 8:30am. Thank you for your serious consideration.
