Hershel Floyd, Jr. Comment

  1. ***MISSION ACCOMPLISHED*** Today the North Texas Patriot Guard Riders honored the service of Mr. Hershel Floyd, Jr., United States Army, as we stood Tall and Silent at his funeral service, rode with him one last time and then Stood Tall and Silent during his committal service. The certificate of appreciation was presented to the family during the committal service.

An incredibly special thanks to Laura and Mark, who so tirelessly get our Missions out to the Riders; to Dan for getting the Missions posting on the National website; To those that stood in as Active Pallbearers today and to Mike for taking the photographs today showing this family the true face of the Patriot Guard Riders, those who so willingly give of themselves and are found standing in the Flag Line.

To Mr. Floyd III and Mr. Floyd Jr.’s family – thank you for allowing the Patriot Guard Riders to stand today in honor of this American Veteran. May God comfort you in your loss.

    Tom S. Hardin
    Ride Captain
