ABOUT THE MISSION:
Greatest Generation United States Marine Corps Veteran Herbert “Lucky” Page, 92, completed his earthbound duties June 7, 2019. Lucky courageously fought in the Battle of Iwo Jima during WWII to defend his homeland and protect America’s way of life. Corporal Page received 12 Medals during his tour of duty from 1943 – 1946 including; two Purple Hearts, National Defense Service Medal, Marine Corps Good Conduct Medal, and United Nations Service Medal. He enjoyed celebrity status among the Veteran community and all the lady’s knew if they got too close he would hook them with his cane! Thanks for sharing your life with us Lucky. Survivors include, three sons, six grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, many friends, and his beloved Veteran family.
