ABOUT THE MISSION:

The family of Mr. Templin has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to honor his memory and service to our Country by standing a Flag Line at his funeral service and again at his interment service.
PLEASE NOTE!!!!: Laurel Land Funeral Home is now in their new building—the new address is 6300 South R.L. Thornton Freeway. If you are traveling south, please exit I35 at Camp Wisdom Road. Cross over I35 and proceed north on the I35 Service Road to the new home. If you are traveling north, just exit Camp Wisdom Road and proceed north on the I35 Service Road to the new home.

Flags will already be placed prior to the beginning of the visitation at 1:00 pm. We will establish the flag line at 1:30 to welcome the family and friends of Mr. Templin. Once the service begins, we will retrieve the flags and return them to the support vehicle in preparation for the committal service.

If you have large bike flags, please bring them.
Water will be provided.

Honor bikes will be selected for the short procession to the committal site. A safety brief will ensue and remaining riders will proceed to the committal shelter to set the flags and await the arrival of Mr. Templin, family and friends. At the conclusion of the service, flags will be returned to the support vehicle, a debrief given and riders will then be dismissed.

Large Bike Flags will NOT be needed.
Water will be provided.

  2. Thank you so much for this beautiful, respectfully executed service. Our loved one would have been very proud of this beautiful service, freely given, to him and his family. Such a touching addition to his memory. I won’t forget it. I can speak for
    my brother-in-law, that he would have been very proud of you all. Again, thank you so much for making a difficult time in our lives very honorable and memorable.
