The family of Greatest Generation member TEC4 Henry L. Ekstrom has requested that we stand tall and silent in a flag line of respect and honor prior to the services for their loved one. It will be our privilege and honor to do so.
Hero Ekstrom served in the U.S. Army in the Pacific Theater of Operations. During his service to our country he earned and was awarded the Victory Medal, Asiatic-Pacific Theater Ribbon w/4 Overseas Service Bars and the Good Conduct Medal.
He leaves behind his wife, children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren as well as a long list of other family and friends.
Please join me in standing tall, silent and respectful in a flag line of honor for this American Warrior. Stand down Sir; your watch here has been completed. Your next duty station will be to patrol the streets of Heaven.
We come to thank you and honor you for your service to our nation. Your service allows us the freedoms we enjoy today. You will never be forgotten.
