The mission is a ‘go’ and all contacts have been made.  Mr. Dodd graduated from Texarkana High School in 1944 and immediately joined the U.S. Navy during World War II. He served on the U.S.S. Minneapolis Heavy Cruiser and served in the South Pacific and China during his military service\, being honorably discharged in 1946. He attended U. T. Austin and later graduated from University of North Texas in 1950. He went to work for Brown and Root Construction in Houston\, later becoming Vice President in the Power Division\, helping build two nuclear power plants\, Comanche Peak at Glen Rose and Houston Power and Light nuclear plant in Bay City. He retired after 37 years\, in 1988.  \nServices:  10:00 AM Thursday\, July 28th at Bogata First United Methodist Church\, 206 North Main Street\, Bogata\, Texas\, under the directions of Wood Funeral Home. Burial will be at Bogata Cemetery\, Bogata\, Texas.  BIG FLAGS BIKES WOULD BE APPRECIATED. \nStaging:  at the church 8:15 to 8:30 AM with a riders meeting at 8:30. Directions to the cemetery will be given by the Ride Captain.  All new members are requested to sign a PGR Release of Liability prior to Flag Line.
