DESCRIPTION:Henry A. “Sonny” Goebel Jr.\, PGR\, Veteran\nUSA\nAugusta\, Michigan – 30 Oct 2017\n\n\n[HR][/HR]\nABOUT THE MISSION: \n\nIt is with great sorrow we learned of the  passing of one of our long time members\, “Sonny” Goebel. Sonny and his  wife Fran stood many flag lines through all kinds of weather to honor  our Soldiers and Veterans. His ready smile and sense of humor will be  missed by all. \nSonny was born 2 Feb 1941\, and passed while visiting his daughter in  Virginia on 4 Oct 2017. He is survived by his loving wife Fran\,  two daughters\, and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Sonny was drafted into the US Army during the  Vietnam War and served in Germany. He told Fran he was gonna be the best soldier he could be and there is no doubt he was.
