ABOUT THE MISSION:

Mr. Bomar was inducted on 23 Jun 1943. He served as a Combat Infantryman in the Rhineland and Central Europe as part of the 100th Infantry Division. He was in the 3rd wave of the Battle of the Bulge. Awards include: the Bronze Star; WWII Victory Ribbon; Good Conduct Medal; American Theater Ribbon; EAME Theater Ribbon w/2 Bronze Service Stars; Distinguished Unit Badge w/Bronze Oak Leaf Cluster. He received his Honorable Discharge on 3 April 1946.

Riders will stage at the cemetery to set flags and await the arrival of family and friends. In lieu of the Army Honor Guard, PGR will fold and present the flag at the graveside service. We also will have the honor of serving as pallbearers. Following the service, flags will be returned to the support vehicle and riders will be debriefed and dismissed. .

Large Bike Flags will NOT be needed.
Water will be provided.
