The family of Veteran Harry Edward Stewart, 80, United States Navy and Lincoln Law Enforcement Officer, has requested the Patriot Guard Riders provide an escort and short Flag Line in Lincoln, Nebraska on Thursday September 10th, 2020, at 10:45am. Our Hero, Harry Stewart joined the US Navy in 1959. He trained to become an electrician and was assigned to the battleship USS Saratoga. He proudly wore his USS Saratoga hat throughout his life. His law Enforcement career included working for the Lincoln Police Department for two years before joining the Lancaster County Deputy Sheriff’s office serving nearly 40 years. He wholeheartedly believed in “truth, and justice for all” no matter who you were. Harry served in many capacities including patrols, the rescue/recovery scuba team, working narcotics and being a narcotics team trainer, working in Youth court, and being a security guard. He earned many distinguished awards in law enforcement including becoming a US Marshall. He received honors for “secret and special projects” in drug enforcement. He was fondly known as “Dirty Harry” after Clint Eastwood’s movie character.

Special Instructions:

Our Heroes Cremains will be escorted from the Lincoln Lancaster County City County building to the Cornhusker Bank building with an ETA of 11:00am. Following the escort the PGR will provide a short 30 minute Flag line.
Riders meeting: 10:30 AM
Clutches out: 10:45AM
Escort ETA: 11:00AM
Visitation: 11:00AM to 1PM
Stand down: 11:30AM Approx.
Anyone wishing to set-up the Flag line before the 11am arrival may stage at the Cornhusker Bank building,
Briefing 10:40AM,
Flag line: 10:50AM.
Flags & Water:
Flags will be provided
If you have large bike flags, please bring them.
Water WILL NOT be provided, please bring your own.
