ABOUT THE MISSION:
As a clean-cut young sailor of 22 years of age, Harold Welsh Tadlock witnessed a chilling sight: the detonation of two atomic bombs at Bikini Atoll. He enlisted in 1942 and was an SSML, Ships Service Man (Laundry) on board USS Niagara when he and his shipmates witnessed the test of a 23-kiloton Able atomic bomb and a 21-kiloton Baker atomic bomb. A WWII veteran and witness to atomic history, 94 year old Harold Tadlock served his country honorably and his family has now invited the PGR to honor him at his last formation. It will be our honor.

After the briefing, establish a flag line for visitation.
Once the service starts at 11:00, we will stand down and prepare to escort to the Lando cemetery less than a mile away from the church.
