ABOUT THE MISSION:
Harold a/k/a “Hoagie” served one year in Viet Nam as a munitions specialist. He was from Reading, PA. After leaving the Air Force he had many different occupations, from working at the Continental Can Co. to having many different businesses of his own. He grew up working at his family business called “The Guard House”, a well known restaurant and bar in its day in Reading. He went on to have his own establishment called the Game Room. He also had a large used car business and later in his working career worked at Blind Hartman’s Bar & Restaurant. He retired about 3 years ago and moved to Beaufort with his wife. He leaves a son, a daughter and 2 grandchildren and 1 on the way.
