Honor Mission
Harold E. Davidson, Retired

ABOUT THE MISSION:

We have lost another member of the Greatest Generation. The family of Lieutenant Colonel Harold E. Davidson, United States Air Force, Retired, has requested the Georgia Patriot Guard Riders to stand a flag line to honor their Hero prior to his memorial service. It will be our honor to do so. Harold E. Davidson was a graduate of Purdue University and served as a career Air Force officer for 30 years. He initially served in the Pacific during WWII as a B-24 pilot and continued his flying career during the Korean and Vietnam wars. Following his retirement he taught aviation at a local community college and began volunteering with the Georgia Council for International Visitors and Angel Flight where he would provide private air transportation for medical treatment to those in need.

Special Instructions:

This Honor Mission will be a flag line only.  We will follow social distancing as outlined by the CDC.  Stage: 9:15 am, Briefing: 9:30 am, Flag line: 9:45 to 11:00 am.   Service begins at 11:00 am.  The family is scheduled to arrive at 10:00 am. When the service begins at 11:00 am, we will break down the flag line and quietly depart.

Large Bike Flags will NOT be needed.
Water will be provided.
