Patriot’s Name: Harlin J. Dauphin
Military Branch: United States Navy
Classification: Veteran; Mr. Dauphin joined the United States Navy Air Corps
in 1944 and served our country proudly in the South Pacific (Guam). Due to the “point system”, he was discharged to reserve status, but was recalled to active duty on October 24, 1950, serving in Korea aboard the USS Bataan, flying “sorties” over
Korea. He was discharged when his enlistment ended and was awarded the “Silver Star” medal for his service.

Details Of Part 1:
The Patriot Guard will stage at the information center at Dallas-Fort Worth
National Cemetery. A mission briefing will be held and honor bikes assigned.
Then the riders will proceed to the assigned shelter, put the flags in
place, and await the arrival of family and friends. After the service is
over, the flags will be returned to storage, a debriefing held, and riders
dismissed.
