ABOUT THE MISSION:

Mr.Hamilton was inducted into the U.S.Marine Corps. on November 30, 1943. He served as a radio operator in the Central Pacific Area from September 10, 1944 until March 28, 1945. He was awarded the purple heart for wounds he received on Iwo Jima. Also, he qualified as an Expert Rifleman. The following do not appear on his DD214, but he was certainly eligible for The Combat Action Medal; Asia Pacific Campaign Medal and the WWII Victory Medal.

Riders will stage at the Information Center. After the briefing honor bikes will proceed to the designated staging lane. All other riders will proceed to the designated shelter to set flags and await the arrival of the procession. Riders will stand tall and silent until the MRC indicates flags be returned to the storage locker/vehicle after which riders will be debriefed and dismissed.

If you have large bike flags, please bring them.
Water WILL NOT be provided, please bring your own.
