The family of Gunnery Sergeant Jerry Lester Nelson\, 57\, has requested Patriot Guard Riders to stand in honor of his more than 20 years of service to our country as a proud member of the United States Marine Corps.  As his family stated in his obituary\, he “served 20 years\, 2 months\, and 14 days\, but was forever a Marine.” \nPGR will stand a flag line in honor of GySgt Nelson during his visitation and funeral services at the Prattville Memorial Chapel\, 841 Fairview Avenue (Hwy 14) in Prattville.  Visitation begins at 2:00 with his funeral service starting at 3:00.  His final roll call\, with military honors\, will be in the Prattville Memory Gardens immediately following the funeral service. \nSTAGING INFO\nLOCATION:  Prattville Memorial Chapel\, 841 Fairview Avenue\, Prattville\, AL\nTIME:  1:30 p.m. (to stand the flag line in his honor)\nKSU:  N/A (interment is at the same location)\nRCIC:  Tommy (T-Bird) Beeson\, 334-207-7099 \nWeather Forecast:  It will be hot (96) and sunny.
