The family of GSM2 Marqus Pettaway has requested the Patriot Guard to stand in honor of their loved one.  Mr. Pettaway passed away at the age of 45. \nMr. Pettaway served in the U.S. Navy for 20 years and was awarded the Navy Achievement Medal\, Navy Unit Commendation\, Meritorious Unit Commendations (3)\, Navy “E” Ribbon\, Good Conduct Medal (6)\, National Defense Service Medal\, Southwest Asia Campaign Service Medal\, Sea Service Deployment Ribbon (4)\, 9MM Pistol-Marksmanship Ribbon\, and an Honorable Discharge.  Other awards and commendations are unknown at this time.
