Gregory Bedell Rust, Retired

The Patriot Guard Riders have been asked to escort and stand in honor of CDR Gregory Bedell Rust at Barrancas National Cemetery. CDR Gregory Bedell Rust honorably served his country for 20 years and was awarded many awards to include: Sea Service Deployment Ribbon, Vietnam Service Medal w/one Bronze Star, Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal w/device, National Defense Service Medal, US Naval Forces Vietnam, Republic of Vietnam Meritorious Unit Citation w/ Gallantry Cross with Palm, Republic Vietnam Meritorious Unit Citation (Civil Actions Medal First Class Color with Palm), Air medal, and the Navy “E” ribbon with Silver attachments.

Special Instructions:

Naval Air Station requires long sleeve shits, long trousers, long fingered gloves, DOT approved helmets, leather footwear that covers the ankles, and appropriate eye protection at all times while on the base.
0930- Safety Briefing for all riders.
0945- KSU to Olive Baptist Church, 102 W. Winthrop Ave, Pensacola, Fl.
1000- Meet Family and Family Funeral & Cremation.
1030- Honors at Barrancas National Cemetery site B

Water will be provided.
