ABOUT THE MISSION:
The family of U.S. Navy/USNR Commander Gregg L. Mattson has requested the Patriot Guard Riders’ presence as they show their final respects to their loved one. Commander Mattson was a pilot with the U.S.N./ U.S.N.R. no further information was available at this time. Mr. Mattson was also a Sgt. with the Jacksonville Sheriffs Office at the time of his death.

  6. To Gregg, my cousin and my good friend. Although we know you are in a much better place, you will be greatly missed here, not only by your family, but your military and Police family as well. You have touched so many lives with your love, kindness and friendship that it is hard to believe you are gone. I have the privilege to be able to honor you one last time as I stand with the Jacksonville Patriot Guard. Thank you for your service to this great country and to your community, but most of all, thank you being in our lives. God speed my brother.
