Grant Allen Krause, age 72, died unexpectedly and went to his heavenly home on October 18, 2020 in the care of St. Elizabeth Hospital in Appleton, WI. Grant was born in Marinette, WI on March 2, 1948 to the late Vernon and Evelyn (Grant) Krause. Grant lived his early childhood in Crivitz, WI and later moved to Crete, IL. Grant graduated in 1967 from Crete-Monee High School. While working at Kohler in Sheboygan, WI and shortly before enlisting in the United States Army, Grant met his wife Beverly List. Grant was then first stationed at The Presidio in San Francisco, CA. then he was stationed at Fort DeRussy in Honolulu, HI. He served as an MP (Military Police) during his enlistment. Grant was a deputy for the Outagamie County Sheriff’s Office for 27 years, starting in February of 1973. He was also a proud member of the Blue Knights Motorcycle Club of Wisconsin Chapter V. Grant’s passion for motorcycles continued into his retirement years, and he was happy his son restored his 1976 Limited Edition Honda Goldwing and enjoys riding just as much as he did. This is a double service for Grant and his Bride of 51 years, Beverly.

           Family will be gathering with friends immediately after the service.
           We will then escort to the cemetery.
Escort to Highland Memorial Park
Staging Time: 01:15 p.m.
           ETD 01:30 p.m.
           The escort is about 5 miles on city streets, below 25 mph.
            If you have large bike flags, please bring them.
            Escort to interment with Full Military Honors, at Highland Memorial Park at 2:30 p.m.
            Please feel free to participate in part one, part two or both parts of this mission.
1. We will not be in proximity to family or visitors.
2. The Ride Captain may present the plaque and dog tags to the family privately. No other members will assist or attend.
3. ALL members MUST wear a face mask over mouth and nose at all times from the time they dismount or leave their vehicle until they depart. Members may remove masks if they are more than 8 feet from anyone else but must have it in place should anyone approach. Failure to follow this will result in being ordered to leave the mission.
4. We ask that the family and friends maintain a safe distance of 8 – 10 feet at all times (therefore we cannot line the immediate entry area or open doors).
5. We may participate in an escort maintaining a safe distance.
6. We may pre-establish a flag line at the burial / interment site not less than 20 feet away from the expected family and friends area and not closer than 10 feet from an adjacent flag.
7. I ask each member to make sure they have a mask with them at all times as well as hand sanitizer and possibly gloves (laundered between each mission). I have reviewed this policy with National and have their agreement that failure to follow this is not only a violation of the trust of the people we serve but jeopardizes the health and safety of all involved. Any person who does not wish to follow this policy should refrain from attending any mission. I am directing the Ride Captains to report any member who violates this policy. Any member violating this policy will be removed immediately and permanently from the Patriot Guard Riders.
