Honor Mission
Gordon L. Morrison, Retired

ABOUT THE MISSION:

Patriots we again have been called to honor AM1 Gordon L. Morrison, USCG Retired.  Serving our country honorably, Petty Officer Morrison retired from the USCG Aircraft Repair and Supply Center, Elizabeth City after 20 years continuous service.  He then entered the Civil Service with the USCG for another 20 years.  His total 40 years of service wasn’t complete as he felt it necessary to devote his spare time to volunteer with the Pasquotank County Fire Department.

Special Instructions:

This will be a Flag Line Only Mission.  We will stage and brief at the funeral home prior to the arrival of family. After the brief we will set the flag line.  During Military Honors, we will render the appropriate honors showing respect and honor for his military service.
USCG Military Honor Guard will be present as well as the Pasquotank Fire Department.
Maintain social distancing during briefings and flag lines, as outlined by the CDC and the governor’s guidelines.  Face coverings are recommended and social distancing from non-household members is required.   Stay at least forty feet away from the family and funeral tent.  If you have exhibited any symptoms associated with this virus in the past 14 days, please reconsider your attendance.  Each member is responsible for his or her own safety and health during the mission.
Flags & Water:
Flags will be provided
Large Bike Flags will NOT be needed.
Water will be provided.
