Glenn Junior Mitchell Comment

  1. Mission Complete: 27 May 2020 – Cpl Glenn Junior Mitchell, WWII USMC Veteran, Ringling, OK
I want to thank all who made the graveside mission today to honor Cpl Glenn Junior Mitchell, WWII USMC Veteran
On a sunny morning, we had 12 bikes/trikes, 13 members present to honor Cpl Glenn Junior Mitchell
Upon arrival at the cemetery we staked flags around the pavilion. When Cpl Mitchell arrived the PGR served as pall bearers to move Cpl Mitchell from the coach to the pavilion. After the briefing we stood the flag line as family and friends arrived.
We stood the flag line during the service. At the end of the service the USMC Honor Guard played Taps, folded and presented the flag to Cpl Mitchell’s nephew. After which the PGR Invocation was presented to his nephew. The PGR plaque will be presented at a later date.
After the service the PGR again served as pall bearers to move Cpl Mitchell back to the coach and again to move Cpl. Mitchell from the coach to his gravesite.
A Special Thank You to Cpl Glenn Junior Mitchell for your service to our country and dedication to protecting our freedoms.

    David “sleepy” Engelhardt
