SGT Carpenter proudly served our nation in the US Army for Two years 1944 to 1946. During his time in service SGT Carpenter earned the following awards: Army Good Conduct Medal\, Army Occupation Medal\, European African Middle Eastern Theater Ribbon\, and World War II Victory Ribbon.
