I want to thank you all for honoring my father, SGM Glen Wilson Finley, ret.
I was very proud of you all standing there holding your flags in respect of a fallen soldier!!! It is an honor my father deserved! Not only did dad serve our country at home and abroad, but he and my mother raised 7 children whom all reached adulthood! Three of his sons served a term or two! Were proud to serve!
We were raised that we were always to be respectful of our country, to never speak badly of our President, no matter who he was or what political side he represented! He’s our President have respect!!! We were all taught that we are all ambassadors of our country, so don’t forget it! Dad made sure we all knew it!!!
Again I thank you all for your patriotism, keep up the good work, as dad would say!!! I deeply appreciate the plaque and card, I will treasure them always!!!
Sincerely, Daisy Finley Weber
