ABOUT THE MISSION:
Our Hero Glen W Bower Sr , 92, entered the United States Army on January 16, 1951, during the Korean War. He drove tanks and trucks and was a cook. After serving on the front line in a tank outfit, he received his honorable discharge on October 15, 1952. He was honored with the Sharpshooters Medal in rifle and carbine, the National Defense Medal, Korean Service Medal, and the United Nations Korean Medal. He was a 40-year member of the Stromsburg Fire Department, a life member of the VFW, and member of the Stromsburg American Legion. Glen and Joann were charter member of the ambulance squad. Glen was one of the first EMT’s in the State of Nebraska and served on the Stromsburg EMT Squad for 30 years. Patriot Guard Rider Glen Bower Jr, along with the rest of his family have requested the PGR provide a flag line prior to the 10:30am funeral of Korean War Veteran Glen W. Bower Sr. 92; an escort to the cemetery and a flag line during his graveside service.

Following the funeral service the PGR shall provide an escort to the Graveside service and stand a perimeter flag line during the service.
