ABOUT THE MISSION:

The Family of Sgt. Gilbert J. Otts, 76, USMC, has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to Stand in Honor of his service to our country. Gilbert served in the Marine Corps for a period of four years and four months. Gilbert enlisted in the Marine Corps in 1963, and graduated top of his platoon at MCRD Parris Island,SC. After recruit training, he was selected to serve aboard the Aircraft Carrier USS Wasp (CV-18). Gilbert’s awards include: The Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Rifle Marksman Badge, Pistol Marksman Badge and a Letter of Commendation.
