Dr. Gilbert H. Myers

Dr. Gilbert Hayes Myers, 92, of Milton, died August 27, 2016 in Janesville.

He was born May 31, 1924 in North Kingsville, OH, and after he graduated from high school he enrolled at The Ohio State University and in 1943 he interrupted his studies to volunteer for duty in the U.S. Army. He served in France and Germany as a medic in the 6th Infantry Division, 365th Medical Battalion, of the Third Army under General George Patton.

He was a member of the American Legion and he and his daughter visited Washington DC with Vetsroll in May, 2015.

Burial

Will follow the services at Milton Junction Cemetery with Full Military Honors.
