ABOUT THE MISSION:
SP4 Gil A. Carter served in the US Army from November 1963 to May 1969, spending 30 months overseas stationed in Landshut, Germany where he was assigned to the the 2nd Recon Squadron, 11th Armored Cavalry Regiment. SP4 Carter earned the Good Conduct Medal and Expert badge for the M-14 Rifle. In civilian life, Gil was a longtime motorcycle rider and member of the Black Horse Regiment, Motorcycles. He was also a 35 year member of the American Legion and a Chaplin of VFW post 10882.

This will be a celebration of life service where we will stand a flag line.
1:00 pm – Mission Briefing
1:15 pm – KSU to mission location
1:30 pm – Establish flag line
2:00 pm – Service begins, quietly fade away after Military Honors.
The US Army will provide Military Honors augmented by the AMVETS Dept of WA. Post #16.
The Patriot Guard Riders will also be providing a Rolling Honor Guard.
