Honor Mission
Gerry V. Pawlowski LEO, FIRE, PGR

orwigsburg, Pennsylvania – 06-05-21

ABOUT THE MISSION:

The Patriot Guard Riders have been asked to stand to honor one of our own, Gerry V. Pawlowski.  Gerry was a friend and a mentor to those that knew him in the PGR.  Dedicated to honoring and remembering our veterans and first responders with his loving wife at his side.  In his younger years, Gerry was a Detective Sergeant for Northampton Township Police Department, he was the assistant chief of Richboro Fire Company and Chief of Trevose Heights Rescue Squad.  He was a 50 Year member of Newtown Masonic Lodge #427 and Doylestown Chapter # 26.  Gerry had a strong passion for Motorcycles.  He was a member of the Deer Lake Hog Harley Owners Group (HOG), the Schuylkill Co. Motorcycle Club where he had served as a president for 5 years.   Also he was part of the Schuylkill County Motorcycle Drill Team where he said he learned aggressive, defensive riding skills.  Gerry joined the Patriot Guard Riders to pay tribute to veterans and first responders.  For the last several years, Gerry held the position of Assistant State Captain of the Patriot Guard Riders – Pennsylvania East. He was a leader of men and always wanted to bring out the best in everyone.  He was a mentor.
Gerry is a true patriot who stood with the Patriot Guard for hundreds of missions, served his community, and inspired so many. Now it is our turn to carry on a legacy of respect for one who honored so many, now it is our turn to stand and honor him.

  1. Condolences to Gerry’s wife Joyce and his entire family. Gerry was a prolific rider having attended over 300 missions often with Joyce by his side. A natural leader Gerry became RC, then SRC, and finally ASC. He was universally admired not just by us in the PGR but by everyone who came in contact with him. We will miss his leadership and his friendship. The PGR has lost a great member. I have lost a close friend. The world has lost a good and decent man and Heaven has gained an angel. Rest easy my friend. We have it from here.
    Mike Vogt – PGRPA

  3. I offer my sincerest condolences to Joyce and her family. I only met Gerry once, as far as I can remember, however, he was a legend to me. I saw his name associated with so many missions I thought maybe there was more than one of him. I know there wasn’t; he was just that devoted to the mission of the PGR.
May the light of eternal life shine upon him; may the Earth rest gently on his bones.

  4. Condolences to Gerry’s family and friends. Thanks for your service to the community and the PGR. RIP hero.

  5. Gerry was truly one of the most genuine people I have ever met. My heart goes out to his loving wife Joyce as well as his entire family and his friends. Gerry had a special quality that inspired people. I know he did me. It was his subtle persuasions that nudged me into my position within the PGR. His confidence and reassurances have helped me be better. To do better. He is someone we can all look to for guidance because simply put. He was that good of a man. Your smile, your laughter and your insight will surely be missed kind sir. Rest in Peace Gerry, Until we meet again. Forever ride free on Heavens highways.
