ABOUT THE MISSION:

The family of SSgt Lyons, 70, has graciously invited the Patriot Guard Riders’ presence as they show their final respects and lay their loved one to rest. Gerald faithfully served his country in the US Army and performed duties as a Legal Clerk. Upon completion of his service, Gerald received an Honorable Discharge and during his time in service, he was awarded the Army Commendation Medal, Good Conduct Medal (3), Army Service Ribbon, Overseas Service Ribbon (4), NCO Professional Development Ribbon (3), Driver Mechanic Badge, Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal, Republic of Korea Presidential Unit Citation, and the M-16 Expert Ribbon. Please bring your 3 X 5 American Flags and stand in Honor and Respect for our Hero and his family. Face Masks are mandatory. Please hydrate.

It is my honor and privilege to stand with and for those who dared stand where many feared to tread. Your loss is immeasurable but it will mark again the strength and fortitude of the families who raised and supported our heroes, our disciplined, our courageous, among whom you are included.
