The family of Gerald W. Barr has requested the participation of the Patriot Guard Riders in his military honors funeral.

ABOUT THE MISSION:
Gerald W. “Jerry” Barr served his country in the US Army from 1964 to 1970. He attained the rank of Specialist 5th Class as a Heavy Equipment Operator whose service was mostly at Ft. Wainwright, Alaska.
Gerald married and raised a family and eventually retired from New York State Department of Mental Retardation / Developmental Disabilities. “Jerry” continued his service to his fellow man by volunteering for numerous organizations throughout the Capital Region.
The Patriot Guard Riders will be privileged to be there to render Honor, Dignity and Respect for the life and service of Gerald W. Barr.
