Ride Report for USMC Cpl Ashley.
It was a bit chilly, but 13 of us stayed after the first mission to stand for Mr. Ashley. We said the Pledge of Allegiance and Doc led us in prayer. I then conducted the briefing. We moved to shelter 2 for the service. Arizona arrived and joined us for the service. Buffalo Bill lead the procession to the shelter. The Marine Honor team was present at the shelter and conducted honors well. They folded the flag, played taps after the Marine Corps League Rifle team fired three volleys, and presented the flag. The Marine Corps League presented two certificates and three spent shells (just fired), and I presented the condolence card and an Angel coin.
The family was very appreciative of our presence. Thank y’all for being there and honoring such a fine man. Thanks Doc, for the flags and Ruben for snacks and water, and Bill for escorting the procession. Y’all rock!!!!
