ABOUT THE MISSION:
The family of United States Navy veteran Mr. Gerald Lee Morgan has requested the Patriot Guard Riders to escort him from Canton Corners Shopping Center to his final resting place at Georgia National Cemetery. We will stand and honor their hero and family member. Mr. Morgan is a former City of Atlanta Police Officer and served with the Georgia National Guard.

We will meet at Canton Corners Shopping Center (Parking lot – Located next to Williamson Brothers). We will have a short meeting and then set-up for an escort to GNC. Departure time (KSU) at approx. 1 – 1:15 pm.

Special Instructions:
For those who want to meet at GNC and not be part of the escort. Stage at PIC meeting (Parking Lot) and after a briefing will move to the assigned shelter when appropriate. We will stand a silent flag line at GNC during the inurnment. Funeral Service at GNC is scheduled 2 pm. We will have LEO escort. Military Honors has already been provided at an earlier date and will not be provided at GNC. The family is requesting the PGR perform the U.S. Flag folding and present to two additional family members.
