Honor Mission
George Winslow, PGR
Amboy, Minnesota – 02-01-20

ABOUT THE MISSION:
It is my solemn duty to regretfully inform you that George Winslow, past National President of the Patriot Guard Riders, passed away at 8:00 PM Tuesday evening while in hospice care near his home in Amboy, MN. George was one of the ‘Original’ MN Patriot Guard members, serving as Assistant State Captain, Regional Captain, and eventually the National President. George was not a Veteran, however, he served his country through his dedication to the mission of the Patriot Guard Riders. George’s family has insisted that NO Honor Line be held for George but instead invites us to his Memorial Service this coming Saturday. Please keep George, his family, and friends in your thoughts and prayers. For those that knew George, he was an even-tempered Patriot who was a mentor to many Patriot Guard leadership in Minnesota and across the country. He stepped into his role as the National President at our most difficult time, during our trademark lawsuit, which divided our organization and nearly shut us down. Justice prevailed, as did the Patriot Guard Riders, in large part to George’s dedication to our mission. We owe a debt of gratitude to George for keeping us on the right track and focused on our mission. For those members that were around in the beginning, we are headed back to Amboy! Our 1st MN Patriot Guard State Rally, held on October 7th 2006, was coined the “Where the hell is Amboy Ride!”

George Winslow Comment

  1. I was shocked to learn of George’s passing. He was a true Patriot and a inspiration to many. You always knew where George
stood on issues. I never met him personally but had many conversations with him through email aand phone.
    He will surely be missed.
My deepest heartfelt condolences to the family and friends.

    Regards and Respects,
    James “SneakySnake” Davis
