ABOUT THE MISSION:
The family of George W. Houston has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to be with them as we honor him for his service to our country. Hero Houston proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps during the Korean War. Hero Houston was a pillar of society; he was a forever Boy Scout of Troop 229 and helped many boys achieve the highest rank of Eagle in the Boy Scouts of America. He served in the American Legion Post 444 and was the Commander of the VFW Post 1840. It will be our privilege to stand a flag line of honor and respect for this true patriot.

Funeral Mass: 10:00 AM. It is expected that there will be several long eulogies for Hero Houston and they are expecting a large procession going to Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery for Military Honor. We will stand a flag line during military honors at 1:00 PM. Weather Forecast: Mostly Cloudy Hi 91* – Low 74*. When we lose a loved one one here on earth, we gain an angel in heaven that watches over us. Our most sincere condolences to you.
It is an honor for me to be the Patriot Guard Ride Captain for George W. Houston. Geo will be truly missed by all those who knew him. He will be with those who have gone before us. I am sure he will be with his friend Lou Roth looking down upon us from the window from above. I would like to offer my sincere condolences and prayers for Geo. May the peaceful moments and cherished memories bring his family and friends renewed strength. In the difficult days ahead do not let your heart be troubled your faith will keep you strong.
