AAR: Mission complete 17 Sep 2019 PFC George Lloyd Carman USA, Korea Veteran Patriots assembled at First Baptist Church, Ft. Gibson, OK flags were staked at entrance, ride briefing held, doors were manned as friends and family arrived. When service started flags were retrieved and PGR went to Ft. Gibson National Cemetery and posted flags at the committal shelter. When service ended a respect line was formed as Hero was loaded into the coach, escort by FGPD was a tour of Ft. Gibson took the long way to FGNC. Flag line was formed as Hero was moved to committal shelter, Pastor read a scripture and offered a prayer. Muskogee American Legion fired a volley of three, rendered TAPS, folded and presented flag to Heros son. PGR came forward presented thanked the family and presented plaque, and invocation, to the son. Then offered a final salute to the Hero, The Masonic Lodge then presented the last rites to brother Carman, service concluded.
One note PFC Carman was the uncle of one of the FGNC workers and was in attendance. Thanks to all that attended, Ft. Gibson PD for all of their support, most of all thanks to PFC George Lloyd Carman for your service to our nation, you will not be forgotten Brother!
