ABOUT THE MISSION:
George Karl Felkner was born October 7, 1949 in Texas City, Texas . Following his graduation from Texas City High School, George joined the United States Navy where he bravely served his country during the Vietnam War. He completed six years of naval service where he rose to the rank of Petty officer third class.

Staging Time:8:15 Briefing Time: 8:30 In Position/KSU Time: 8:45 Starting Time: 9:00 We will stage at the Visitor’s Center for a short mission brief. Honor Bikes will be selected, and they will move to the appropriate staging lane and prepare for the procession to the committal shelter. The remaining riders will move to the designated committal shelter, set the flags and establish the Flag Line to await the arrival of Mr. Felkner, family and friends. When directed, riders will return the flags to the storage area, have a short debriefing and be dismissed.
